Cerenzia Foods, Inc., a local distributor of major food brands, is a family-owned company. Like many employers across the nation, Cerenzia faced challenges in this tough economy in maintaining profitability and was in danger of laying off key employees.
Cerenzia enrolled in the Business Consulting Program funded with Workforce Investment Act (WIA) dollars and administered by the Workforce Investment Board of San Bernardino County. They were paired with DEIVIN Consulting, a business consultant specializing in process improvement and business efficiency.
“In this tough economic time, saving money can be the difference between keeping three to four key full-time employees and letting them go,” said Joe Annunziato, chief executive officer for Cerenzia.
